The Olivia Tremor Control's side project, The Black Swan Network, are even more experimental than the original band, if you can believe it. Hidden within the linear notes of OTC's first album, Dusk At Cubist Castle, is a message requesting fans to send in recordings of themselves recounting their dreams. Those recordings were then spliced up and edited to create this collection of seven heavily drone influenced post-rock songs. A great record to listen to when you're in a contemplative mood. Each song (titled 1-7) has a distinct mood, it's as if you can feel the dream that each person had even though there are no words in any song (the recordings people sent in were altered to such an extent that the words are indecipherable between instruments).
